Changing health insurer (basic insurance)
The next deadlines from the reference date. Your notice must have reached the insurer by the day shown.
Applies to compulsory basic insurance. Supplementary insurance has its own deadlines under the contract. A higher deductible is only possible from the start of a calendar year; your insurer tells you the deadline for that. With an optional deductible or a special model (e.g. family doctor, telemedicine), switching is usually only possible at the end of December; check your contract.
Notice period for contracts and subscriptions
Say when the contract should end and how long the notice period is. We tell you the last day on which the notice must arrive.

Calculated under Art. 77 CO: periods in days, weeks or months. If the contract ends at the end of a month, the deadline also counts back from a month end (31 December minus 3 months: 30 September). Public holidays and special rules in the contract are not included.
